Hayden

Hayden, all grown up.  This young man is a good friend of my family.  We had so much fun during this session.  He was very willing to do whatever.  He waited purposefully until October because he wanted fall color in his pictures.  Great choice, the color was awesome.  I shot his sisters senior portraits 2 years ago, how time flies.

Andrew #2

My faithful assistant and I met Andrew and his grandmother last week for Senior Portraits.  I found this really beautiful spot, and visited it for a second time.  However, it is private property and we were very cordially invited to leave...I have guilt.  But, before we left we did manage to get some great pictures of Andrew with his beautiful guitar and without.  He is a quite young man, but with the help of my talkative assistant we were able to get him to relax a bit and have fun.  I am sure that when there is not a camera in his face, he is another person completely.

Family Portraits

A variety of shots from some of my family portrait sessions.   Family portraits are extra special.  No two can ever be alike.  I like when I get to work with a family dressed in everyday wear, and capture a regular day.  No special occasion needed.  Love it!

Mason...Senior Portraits

We shot Mason's senior portraits at Adam's County Fairgrounds.  He wanted to include some shots with his truck, which had plenty of character.  He and his mom were relieved when we were finished.  She was glad because he had them done, he was glad because we were done.

Alex...Senior Portraits

Alex and I met at an open space park north of Denver. We had to go in a back entrance because of construction, the road was a bit rustic.  We were dodging a light rain some of the time, but we managed to get the job done, she was a trooper.

Paulene and Mike...A Wedding June 2009

We shot engagement photos at the CU campus six weeks before the wedding.  The ceremony and reception took place about 15 miles north of Denver at Stonebrook Manor.  Paulene and Mike were a pleasure to work with, the wedding was beautiful.  The bridal party and invited guests were gracious and eager to help me out whenever possible. It was an honor to be included in their special day.

Little Arden

I have 3 children of my own...but this little guy is possibly the cutest baby I have ever seen!  His grandma is a dear friend of mine, so I am sure he will be a regular on the Wilcox Photography show.  He was days away from 6 months old here.  Stay tuned for more...

Andrew's Senior Shoot

We were downtown on Market street with all the Rockies fans for this one.  Andrew was a great sport, we had occasional spectator's and he was not bothered at all.  We ended our shoot on a bridge right near Rockies Stadium, the lighting was beautiful.

just 4 fun

College students, best friends from high school.  These girls decided that during a visit in May they wanted to do a photo shoot.  The details were left to me, the orange couch was a request, and a great one at that.  So off we went.  They even hauled the couch to and from the truck.  The weather was perfect, timing just right.  All natural light (my personal favorite), occasional cloud cover added to and changed the look every couple of frames.  Fabulous shoot, without an occasion and just for fun, I highly recomend it!

Laura and Bernie... a Wedding June 2009

In June of this year I had the pleasure of shooting a wedding for two wonderful teachers.  The ceremony and reception took place west of Denver up into the mountain just a bit.  I shot without a second shooter for the first time, and life as we know it was not harmed.  I did have a great assistant though, and she was perfect.  The couple was so relaxed and casual, amazing to work with.

Temo's Senior Shoot

Saturday October 3rd, I met up with Temo and his mom and sister in Denver.  It was 2:00 p.m. and there was not a cloud in the sky to help us out.  We shot for about an hour and found some really fun murals, which is exactly what Temo wanted.
