I have been up to Aspen twice this summer to shoot weddings with a good friend. We have such a great time working together. Both weddings photographed beautifully.
This little beauty just arrived in our neighborhood a couple of weeks ago. You may not guess from the pictures that she was 7 days old, but she was. So healthy... and an angel during the entire shoot. Good for me, we were able to spend a lot of time shooting. I have an awesome job!
We went to a nearby park for this shoot. We were fighting mosquito's the entire time. I took along this freshly painted folding chair, which came in handy. Alyssa was a great model, she looks beautiful.
Working with seniors downtown... you never really know what will happen during a shoot. We head down there ready to take some pictures, have fun, laugh a lot and get some beautiful shots.
This family really was a dream to work with. They are beautiful and fun. We laughed a lot, and took pictures along the way. A wonderful family shoot. I really hope to work with them again.
2011 Seniors! I look forward to working with the 2011 Seniors. I have already started with a couple of girls, I will finish them up after my San Diego vacation. Lots of creative ideas and kids with fun interests, senior shoots are very fun.
I spent time with this awesome family a month ago. At first the location wasn't inspiring me. We walked around to the west side of some out buildings and things looked a bit better. In the end it was the family that made it fun. They were perfect fun to hang with, so willing to do whatever I asked of them. Super fun happy family.
I am a photographer, wife, mother, daughter, sister, friend, baker, knitter, reader, thrift store shopper, lover of our Lord and Savior, love to laugh, and I found what I want to do when I grow up.
I have been attracted to things that require creativity since elementary school. Photography specifically is a medium I have enjoyed since high school. I decided to get more serious with it about 7 years ago, at which point I took a couple classes at a community college. My friends and family were kind enough, first, to encourage me in my pursuit of this art, and then also to stand in front of my lens as I began to learn and practice portrait photography. For the first couple of years my portfolio was filled with portraits of these people whom I love and am thankful for. I will always be learning, and look forward to each and every time I use my camera to capture life as it happens.
